He had never lived with a human family before.  Often as he lay on the hard forest floor he would dream about what sleeping on a bed would be like.

His own mother tried to discourage him. His brothers and sisters thought he was crazy. 

Somehow, Franz had a deeper knowing that transcended the clowder he was among. Yet he stayed true to his heart's calling and found love, consistent shelter, and of course a warm bed. ON SNOWY AND STORMY DAYS HE KNEW HIS HEART WAS CALLING HIM TO HIS BEST LIFE.
